Cost: $25 –Adult/children size t-shirts for runners and walkers registering by July 7--- (Children under 12 that run or walk with adult are free. If they want a shirt the cost is $10)

Yard waste in a container will be picked up one time per week on Monday's by Jeff's Disposal. Yard waste MUST be CURBSIDE BY 7 a.m.
Grass and plant clippings will be collected from 30 gallon or smaller containers with a weight limit of 40 pounds. Containers must be marked with an "X". Branches must be no longer than 4 ft. and tied into bundles.
To make arrangements for LARGE BRANCHES call the DPW office at 679-3158 and leave a message.
If you are disabled and cannot comply with the requirements please call the DPW for assistance. This is a City of Croswell ordinance and failure to comply may result in a citation and fine.
P. A. 342 was signed into law in February of 2018. It requires all Municipal Utilities to make available to their customers a Voluntary Green Pricing Program (VGP).
This program allows customers to base up to 100% of their Kwhr usage to come from Renewable Energy sources. If a customer chooses to participate in the program, the percentage of Kwhr’s chosen will be billed at .01/Kwhr above their current rate.
If a customer chooses above the 50% rate, the R.E.C. surcharge will be dropped from their monthly energy bill. If you have any questions about this opportunity to purchase (Green Energy), contact the Light & Power Dept. for details.

PUBLIC NOTICE - NOMINATING PETITIONS - CROSWELL CITY COUNCIL
All City of Croswell residents desiring to qualify as candidates for election to City Council must file a properly executed Affidavit of Identity and properly executed Nominating Petition(s) no later than 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at the City Clerk's Office, 100 N. Howard, Croswell, MI 48422. The following terms will be elected:
Three (3) City Council Members - four year terms beginning January 1, 2019
Nominating petitions must be signed by not less than twenty (20) nor more than forty (40) registered electors of the City. Completed Affidavits of Identity and Proof of Citizenship must accompany the petitions when received at the City Clerk's office. Blank nominating petitions and Affidavit of Identity forms are available at the City Clerk's office.
"Must be a registered elector in the City, and has been a resident of the City for one (1) year immediately prior to the election at which he/she is a candidate for office." (Section 3.3 of the City Charter).
